Cat portraits
The phrase “herding cats” exists for a reason, and that reason is cats are weird little dudes. They can be very reactive and are notorious escape artists. This is where sports photography meets portrait photography, and in some cases its easier to have an owner’s reassuring hand removed digitally than to try to upset the cat and wait for the perfect pose. Either way, the final results are what matter, and there’s more than one way to.. well, you know. And that extends to the background. We can apply digital backgrounds to our pet photos that perfectly compliment the animal after the fact. Very easy to do, and streamlines the shoot when you don’t have to constantly brush animal fur off of a background.

Service animal headshots and team photos
Does your good boy or girl have a job? Is he your protector and emotional rock, or is she a trained police officer just waiting for the word to go get a bad guy? Like any worker, small business owner or employee, they need good headshots too! Visit our headshot page to see what we can do for their humans, by the way.

Fun Creative Pet Photos
Photoshoots should be fun, and when the mood strikes – funny. Our creative scope has no limits and this was a fun example of that when this client had the idea to do a vintage SEARS studio homage with his cat.

Pets in Weddings
It’s more common than you might think! You really have to have a special bond with a trusted animal to involve them in your wedding. This good boy was a ring bearer and sat like a pro in all the wedding photos. We always love involving animals in our weddings. Be sure to visit our wedding page to learn more about this service.

Pets in Senior Portrait Projects
Senior portrait clients often involve highly personalized and themed elements in their photoshoots. Pets are among the most popular and frequently involved examples. What a great tribute to your best friend to bring him or her into your senior portraits! Visit our senior portrait page to learn more about this service.

Pets are family too! Adding a pet portrait to your family session is a seamless way to include every member of your household. Our pet-friendly approach ensures a stress-free experience for both you and your animals.

This is our VERY good boy, Marshall the dog. He’s not only a best friend and valued family member, but often accompanies us on human-only portrait shoots. His job is mainly to chase squirrels and keep us safe from the trash collectors and mail delivery vehicle, but he’s undefeated in that regard!
“Dogs’ lives are too short. Their only fault, really,” – Agnes Sligh Turnbull. Get that portrait shoot booked today.
